We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician or 2nd-4th year apprentice to join our team. Thor is focused on a skilled team and positive culture, with room for advancement.

We need someone who can perform a variety of electrical tasks including home construction, commercial construction, light industrial construction, general renovations, and service calls for various troubleshooting and solutions. Applicants with more experience in one or two of these divisions will be considered as well. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with relevant codes and safety standards
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, man lift equipment, and testing equipment to complete electrical projects
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within specified timelines
- Provide guidance and skill training to apprentices as needed

Skills:
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification-Ambitious apprentices will be considered as well
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

-Proficient using latest technology and applications on your phone
- Experience with industrial electrical work is preferred
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

-Ability to work off of man lifts and ladders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 60 per week
