Position Summary

As Project Administratoryou will work on a wide range of projects from an administrative perspective, supporting the Project Teams throughout the construction process. You will help ensure that the best possible building and service are delivered to our clients.

As a Project Administrator your key accountabilities will involve:

  • Providing administrative and coordination assistance to the Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
  • Maintaining consistency in project documentation for format and content, including editing and proofreading documents.
  • Maintaining and tracking approvals on project files, documents (RFIs, SIs, Submittals), Letters of Agreements, and contracts.
  • Attending meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
  • Assisting with creating Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Organizing and archiving project documentation.
  • Ordering and distributing all construction drawings to appropriate parties.

As a Project Administrator your success is dependent on:

  • The ability to build solid long-lasting relationships.
  • The ability to anticipate problems and solve proactively.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • A high degree of professionalism and maturity.
  • Strong time management skills, particularly the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks.
  • The ability to learn quickly with high flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to respond to problems in a friendly and solution-oriented manner.

As a Project Administrator your experience and qualifications will include:

  • 1-3 years of project administration experience, preferably with a general contractor.
  • Leadership experience and skills is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, editing skills.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer.
