Job Summary
Reporting to the Depot Managing Director, the Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving business development and sales of our road safety products and services. Operating both in the field and from our depot, you will build strong relationships with contractors, construction companies, municipalities, and other key clients to promote our offerings and close deals. Your work will be integral to support safe construction zones and traffic control efforts across the region.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients across the greater Niagara and Hamilton region(s).
  • Promote the rental and sale of road safety equipment such as Barrier Wall Systems, Crash Impact Attenuators, Electronic Sign Boards, Portable Traffic Signals & Auto Flaggers, Crash Trucks, Temporary Condition Signs, etc.
  • Offer consultative selling of related services, such as traffic control planning, equipment setup, and removal.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate product delivery and service execution.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and client meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience in B2B sales, preferably within the construction, safety, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of road safety equipment and traffic control products is an asset.
  • Ability to travel 50-60% travel throughout the Niagara/Hamilton regions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel locally to client sites and project locations.
