About the Role:
We are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team to provide essential care and assistance to clients in their homes, long-term care facilities, or retirement communities across Ontario.
As a PSW, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals requiring personal care due to aging, illness, or disability.
Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, etc.)
Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Administer medication as per care plan
Monitor and report changes in client health and behavior
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Maintain accurate records of services provided
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies
RequirementsQualifications:
Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized Ontario program
CPR & First Aid certification (current)
Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (police background check)
Up-to-date immunizations (TB test, COVID-19 vaccination may be required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Reliable transportation (asset for community/home care positions)
