In this entry-level role, youll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by supporting food prep, tackling basic cooking tasks, and keeping things clean and organized. Working alongside and learning from our 2nd Cook, 1st Cook, and Chef de Partie, youll build a solid foundation of culinary skills while making a real impact behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking techniques (grilling, sauting, baking, etc.).
- Support food prep, plating, and maintaining mise en place during service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Help with inventory management, dishwashing, and general kitchen upkeep.
Qualifications:
- 12 years experience in a professional kitchen or culinary education.
- Current FoodSafe BC Certificate.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Wage: $24.28 per hour; paid bi-weekly
Working Hours: Part-time, working 3 - 4 shifts/week (25 - 30 hours) e.g. 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
