Food Service Worker (2–3 Day Event)
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to support our team during a 2–3 day special event. This short-term opportunity is ideal for individuals with a passion for food service who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will play a key role in preparing and serving food while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion food items accurately according to production requirements and standardized recipes.
Utilize daily worksheets to guide food preparation tasks and ensure timely meal production.
Perform a variety of duties including chopping, cooking, plating, and organizing food for service.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in line with company sanitation and food safety standards.
Provide friendly and prompt customer service, including taking orders and answering questions.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Assist with inventory tasks such as restocking supplies and reporting shortages.
Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure high-quality service.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of food preparation or food service experience preferred.
Working knowledge of food preparation techniques, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation practices is helpful.
Ability to read and write to facilitate accurate communication and comprehension of recipes, instructions, and safety procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Food Safe Level 1 Certification required.
Experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is a plus.
