Quality Assurance Analyst

(This is a 1-year contract position)

Location and hours

  • Head Office: 25 Sims Crescent, Unit 1, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1C9 | Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:30AM to 5:00PM (This is a hybrid role).

Responsibilities:

  • Generate food safety key performance indicators (KPIs) trending and analytics on a routine basis to help identify quality trends and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to address food safety KPI trends and flags, and develop/implement effective corrective action plans.
  • Create and oversee engaging and informative training content for our online platforms, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and continuously improved.
  • Handle and investigate customer/consumer complaints from initiation to resolution.
  • Continuously improve all established programs, protocols, and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties/responsibilities as required on a periodic basis.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary Degree or diploma in a related field (i.e., Food Science, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, etc.).
  • Minimum 1 year food service, food safety or hospitality industry-related experience.
  • Strong background in data analytics to effectively analyze food safety KPIs and develop data-driven corrective action plans.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Knowledge of French is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
