The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 based on qualifications and experience.

Are you an innovative and compassionate leader ready to make a lasting impact? We are seeking avisionary Middle School Principal to lead a dynamic learning community of 315+ students and 35 dedicated faculty members in Grades 69.
As part of a forward-thinking international school offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic development and delivering exceptional day-to-day leadership. Supported by a collaborative leadership team, you will nurture excellence in academics, student wellbeing, and holistic education.

As an educator here, you will have the unique opportunity to teach students in Grades 6-10 within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). What Youll Do:
- Lead and inspire a cohesive faculty toward strategic and academic goals
- Oversee daily operations and all Middle School programsfrom academics to co-curricular
- Support the IB MYP curriculum and ensure alignment with school values and vision
- Champion student success through data-informed planning, pastoral care, and inclusive practices
- Build strong connections with parents, staff, and the wider school community
- Supervise budgets, timetabling, communications, and staff development
- Promote student voice, engagement, and leadership opportunities
- Support school-wide initiatives, partnerships, and accreditation processes
Who you are:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa).
- BC Certified Teacher or the ability to obtain it before beginning employment.
- Proven leadership experience in a Middle School or equivalent setting
- Deep knowledge of IB MYP and international education best practices
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous school improvement
- A commitment to student wellbeing, academic integrity, and inclusive education
