WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Manage a broad range of civil litigation files from intake to resolution, with autonomy and accountability, reporting directly to the Partner.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, affidavits, and applications with precision and timeliness.
• Conduct examinations for discovery, prepare and attend applications and independently handle trial work as opportunities arise.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, dedicating approximately 25% of your time to direct client interaction.
• Contribute to a fast-paced, results-driven environment where initiative, ownership, and strategic thinking are valued.
• Develop your own book of business over time with the encouragement and backing of the firm.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, including direct involvement in trials.
• Strong legal drafting skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage a personal caseload independently and efficiently.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Professional demeanor and conduct, both in and out of the courtroom.
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while remaining self-directed and accountable.

ITS A BONUS IF YOU HAVE

• Experience working in a smaller firm or lean team.
• A diverse litigation background or exposure to various practice areas.
• Previous client-facing experience and relationship-building chops.
