International law firm with an office in downtown Toronto seeks a dynamic, team orientated professional to join our help desk team. We offer a hybrid schedule, allowing the successful candidate to work from home 2 days/week.
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent provides technical support to platform employees, and assist with projects and other IT Department tasks as needed.
- Provide technical support by answering help-desk calls as needed for all staff members, both in-house and remote;
- Enter all service and support work orders/tickets into IS Department tracking system;
- Configure, deliver and install computers and peripherals;
- Setup and support presentations and meetings;
- Move and install PC's as set up and take down equipment;
- Interact with servers and communication services;
- Complete various tasks and projects as assigned;
- Part of on-call after-hours support rotation;
- Travel on occasion to other offices for support and/or projects as needed including overtime when needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have one-two solid years of desk-side support as well as remote experience;
- Solid experience troubleshooting Windows and Windows applications;
- Experience with personal computer hardware problem diagnosis;
- Knowledge of Windows 10, MS Office Suite 2016 and Office 365.
- Worked with Active Directory
- A+ certification desirable, but not required
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to follow-up in a timely and efficient manner;
- Experiencing in corporate environment desirable
