About This Role:
Job Type: Full-time, Fixed term contract,
Contract position for 12 months.
Flexible Hybrid work: 1 day in office (from Vancouver Office), 4 days working from home
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the full life cycle recruiting programs for our Vancouver and Austin office.
The role is to recruit Software developers (15-30), software architects (1-2), software product managers (1-2).
Working closely with our CTO (based in HK) and HR director (based in Austin and Toronto) on recruitment tasks.
Running the daily functions of recruiting, Identify and engage talent, post requisitions, source and shortlist candidates, support interviews, conduct role matching, background check, as well as headhunting.
Continuously evaluate the talent acquisition function to enhance processes, staying informed on market trends and best hiring practices. Build and leverage a professional network to gain insights for ongoing improvement.
Contribute to our North American talent acquisition strategy, including recruitment strategies and recommend ways to improve our employer brand.
What Were Looking For:
Bachelors or masters degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years hands-on experience in recruiting, or headhunting in IT / Software development industry.
Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in using metrics to inform, and base decisions upon.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
An ability to work in an unstructured environment with minimal direction.
Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
