Key Duties & Responsibilities1. System Integration, Campaign Infrastructure, and Automation
- Own the technical configuration and maintenance of our marketing automation tools (Customer.io, Pendo, Snowflake).
- Design and implement scalable data flows to enable personalized, event-driven messaging across email, push, and in-app channels.
- Create SQL queries for the purpose of building custom attributes and marketing datasets used in campaign targeting and personalization.
- Create and maintain reliable API-based integrations between Customer.io and systems such as Shopify, internal tools, and the data warehouse.
- Collaborate with analytics and data engineering to ensure accurate and reliable data capture across the marketing funnel.
- Write clear documentation and establish repeatable processes for campaign launches, A/B tests, and triggered flows.
- Work closely with marketing teams (growth, retention, & lifecycle) to translate business requirements into actionable data & automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom attributes, user segments, and automation logic in Customer.io to support personalized communication strategies.
- Build internal tools or scripts to streamline manual tasks or empower non-technical users with automation.
- Monitor system performance, campaign data accuracy, and integration health – debug issues as they arise and implement preventive measures.
- Continuously improve our martech infrastructure for scalability, privacy, and resilience.
- Stay up to date with new Customer.io features and emerging marketing technologies, evaluating how they can be leveraged at Musora.
- Define and enforce governance around customer data usage, consent, and identity resolution within marketing systems.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseKey Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience integrating and managing marketing automation platforms like Customer.io, with strong skills in SQL, data pipelines, and data transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to work with engineering and data teams to enable scalable marketing operations.
- Experience translating campaign strategies into technical requirements and automation logic.
- Proficiency in writing SQL and manipulating datasets for segmentation, personalization, and campaign triggers.
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and JSON structures.
- Experience with data flow tools like Snowflake, Rudderstack, or Fivetran.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python or JavaScript) for automation and tooling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A curious and detail-oriented mindset paired with a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership over systems and outcomes.
- A passion for marketing technology and a drive to create seamless, data-powered customer messaging experiences.
- Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal).
