Job Title:
Service Technician / Service Manager (with Estimating & Sales Responsibilities)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician / Service Manager who is experienced in residential and high-rise plumbing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and completing service calls, quoting and estimating jobs, and helping to grow the business through client relationships and sales initiatives. This hybrid role requires both technical expertise and leadership qualities, along with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform service plumbing work including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
  • Handle rough-ins, installations, and general plumbing work for residential and high-rise buildings
  • Prepare accurate job quotes and estimates based on site assessments, drawings, and client requirements
  • Manage and oversee service jobs, ensuring quality work and customer satisfaction
  • Act as a liaison between field staff, clients, and internal office teams
  • Generate new business through relationship building, referrals, and sales outreach
  • Maintain a professional presence both in the field and in the office
  • Train or supervise junior technicians when needed
  • Support company growth goals through proactive service and sales initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in service plumbing, rough-ins, and installations (residential and high-rise)
  • Proven experience in quoting/estimating plumbing jobs
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage or train team members
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Sales or business development background is a strong asset
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
