NOW HIRING: General Laborer - Golf Course Maintenance

LOCATION: Strathgartney Highlands Golf Course, Bonshaw, PEI

HOURS: Full time, Seasonal. 40 hrs/week. Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm & Saturdays 9am - 12pm.

WAGES: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour - including vacation pay. Negotiable based on experience

THE PERFECT FIT:

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and self-motivated General Laborer to join our team at Strathgartney Highlands Golf Course for the summer season! Located just 20 minutes west of Charlottetown, our scenic 9-hole public course in Bonshaw features a 275-yard driving range and a fully equipped pro shop. We are committed to maintaining high-quality course conditions and providing exceptional experiences for our guests.

In this role, you'll assist with golf course maintenance, landscaping, and general upkeep to ensure a well-maintained and enjoyable environment for golfers. Training is provided for the right candidate. Apply today and be part of a great summer team!

APPLICABLE SKILLS:

• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to work early mornings and weekends as needed
• Previous landscaping, maintenance, or groundskeeping experience is an asset
• Valid drivers license is an asset

JOB TASKS:

• Mowing, trimming, and maintaining drive range, greens, fairways, and roughs
• Raking bunkers, removing debris, and keeping the course clean
• Cleaning up wooded areas and brush removal
• Assisting with irrigation, drainage, fertilizing greens, and landscaping projects
• Operating small equipment and tools safely for maintenance tasks
• Building and maintaining tee boxes
• Setting up the course each day for optimal playing conditions
• Performing general upkeep of the clubhouse grounds and other facilities
• Supporting the groundskeeping team with other related tasks as needed
