Audiovisual Solutions Architect
MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our audiovisual technology client to find a first-class Audiovisual Solutions Architect to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario. The primary responsibility of this role will be to prepare, validate, and review audiovisual (AV) solutions for quoting purposes—ensuring the accuracy, feasibility, and technical quality of each proposal.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:

• Validate and review AV system designs to ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards
• Build detailed, persuasive proposals including technical specs, pricing, and supporting documentation
• Leverage expertise in AV technology to assess and optimize proposed solutions
• Provide regular status updates and reporting to internal stakeholders

You should have the following in your background to apply:

• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification
• A minimum of five years of experience in AV sales and system solutioning
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex solutions
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle; ability to obtain Government Security Clearance
