Our client, located in Oshawa is looking for an Logistics Administrative Accountant to join for a 8+month contract assignment. The role is located in their quaint office with a view, but will become hybrid as you settle into the pace.
This Logistics Administrative Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Excellent accounting administration and organizing documentation as part of a team focused on service and customer support.
- Review bills and invoices for potential errors and/or discrepancies.
- Perform month-end duties.
- Data entry to ERP software.
- Verify for the correctness of drivers' paperwork in the dispatch system to ensure information is correct for billing.
- Create and maintain vendor records using our corporate ERP and records filing system.
TMGCT
- Previous experience in Billings and/or Accounts Payables, data entry coordinator or similar role where you have worked with high volume of information daily.
- Background in Accounts Payable or Purchasing preferred.
- ERP Experience (JD Edwards ideal)
- Intermediate Excel
- Must be exceptionally organized, take pride in one's work, be proactive, detail oriented & accurate
- Logistics industry experiences a nice to have
