Our client is a multi site consumer goods manufacturing company and they are looking for a hands on VP Finance to support the department and be a strategic business leader for the busy and growing business.
Location - Surrey, BC.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions and department team, including accounts payable/receivable, GL and financial controls.
- Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Involved in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reporting and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead the successful implementation and optimization of SAP ERP, collaborating across departments to align processes and ensure user adoption.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Supervise payroll processing to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant compensation of employees.
- Provide financial and process support to Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial teams.
- Ensure data consistency across departments and support reporting requirements with accurate financial and operational data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 7-10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within the food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods industry.
- Proven track record of ERP implementation (SAP highly preferred).
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, payroll compliance, and HR administration best practices.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
