Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as the first direct point of contact for the North American facilities and supporting remotely for Pulsar UK and Asia.
  • Provide advanced hardware support and troubleshoot IT issues involving PCs, printers, mobile devices, telephony systems, Windows servers, standard software applications, and network connectivity.
  • Implement, manage, and configure IT security solutions such as RMM, antivirus, multi-factor authentication, and spam filters.
  • Manage user provisioning, access control, and administration of Active Directory, Office 365, and other SaaS applications.
  • Manage disaster recovery solutions, including the configuration, monitoring, reporting, and validation of backups.
  • Contributing to the IT department, maintaining and sharing knowledge on the latest IT & security developments that Pulsar should be adopting.
  • Proactively manage and engage with other 3rd party IT suppliers/providers, to optimize the cost, uptime and service levels the business receives.
  • Provide IT Project & Change management support as part of the wider team, whilst being responsible for successfully planning and managing local change projects.
  • Rigorously manage communications regarding general administration of business wide applications.
  • Add, move and change IT equipment on site, ensuring the IT inventory and lifecycle management is rigorously maintained.
  • Work with HR to ensure the Employee Onboarding and Offboarding process for IT equipment supply, configuration and decommissioning is managed on time.
  • Maintain IT consumables as per the site stock and guideline levels.
  • Offer assistance for end-users on ERP system functions.

Position Requirements:

  • A degree in IT or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience with supporting users with the Microsoft Office Suite and administration of Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Relevant experience supporting business applications
  • Experienced in administration of Microsoft Server 2019 - Active Directory
  • Fully conversant in MS Windows Platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • A proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Epicor Knowledge and experience will be advantageous.
  • Hypervisor Experience (VMWARE or Microsoft)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in IT or equivalent experience

Computer Skills:

  • Proven experience with supporting users with the Microsoft Office Suite and administration of Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Experience in administration of Microsoft Server 2019 - Active Directory
  • Fully conversant in MS Windows Platforms
  • Advanced Epicor Knowledge and experience will be advantageous.
  • Hypervisor Experience (VMWARE or Microsoft)

Travel:

  • This position may require travel domestic or Internationally
