Jon Title: QA Analyst
Contract Duration: 1+ year (Extension possible)
Pay range: C$40 - 45/hr
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Type: Hybrid, 2 days on site currently, Monday and Thursday
Summary of day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple projects.
• Write SQL queries
• Testing, data quality
• Interaction among stakeholders at different levels.

Job Requirements:

• QA Analyst must be able to define Automation Strategies that will verify the operation of new services or products while tracking to the project schedule, 5-7 years of experience
• Proficient in SQL, SAS, and VBA, and demonstrates hands-on experience in analytics
• Lead complex projects independently and successfully deliver on requirements, testing, testing artifacts, and obtain signoffs
• Expert knowledge of AML transaction monitoring & customer risk rating -Asset
• Ability to perform deep dive investigations and drive recommendations/findings
• Support, mentor, and provide guidance to junior-level Business Analysts and peers
• Strong ownership mentality and can-do attitude
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills accompanied by strong business acumen, with the ability to engage senior audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence and manage a very diverse set of stakeholders
• Flexible and resilient to execute in an agile environment, including the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Acute attention to detail while moving at a fast pace
• Demonstrate analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• High proficiency in MS Office: Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and graphics) and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Selenium, or other automation tools, is an asset
• Strong attention to detail

Must-Haves:

• SQL (writing/creating queries) – must be able to create queries
• Major Banking experience
• IT QA background
• Test automation experience, able to deep dive into investigations.
• Strong presentation skills

Nice to Have:

• SAS and Selenium
• VBA
• AML
