Internal Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst

Position Summary
As a Financial Reporting Analyst in our Finance group, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly consolidated financial statements and delivering full-package reporting that includes consolidating multiple legal entities within the organization in multiple currencies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly consolidated financial statements and related schedules while ensuring accuracy, consistency and integrity of financial data.
- Consolidate financial data from multiple legal entities, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
- Review and reconcile intercompany transactions, including booking required journal entries needed to balance.
- Collaborate with Finance teams across the various entities to collect, validate and verify financial information.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance (trends, risks, opportunities) to management.
- Support the annual audit process and liaise with the external auditors.
- Various other duties and responsibilities.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and additional relevant work experience.
Certifications
- CPA designation is an asset.
Knowledge
- Understanding of financial reporting frameworks (GAAP).
- Knowledge of consolidation principles and standards.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, etc.).
- Knowledge of accounting software/ERP system (Dynamics 365 Finance is an asset).
- Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau are assets).
