Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations in Eastern Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the lighting industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and building long-term client relationships. This role is responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, developing strategic sales plans, and expanding our market presence within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives. Set performance goals, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand Reno Lighting's presence in Eastern Canada.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Reno Lighting's product portfolio and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide regular updates to senior management.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the lighting industry, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the lighting industry, including products, technologies, and market dynamics in Eastern Canada.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the Eastern Canada region to meet with clients and support sales activities.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
