We're working with one of Ontario's top civil contractors—an industry leader in infrastructure, excavation, and concrete work. They're building subdivisions, servicing developments, and executing major civil projects throughout the GTA. Their work is big, fast-moving, and depends on a reliable fleet of heavy equipment. We're hiring a Heavy Equipment Fleet Manager to lead the maintenance department and keep the machines running. You'll oversee a team of technicians, manage maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and ensure the shop is firing on all cylinders. If you're a natural leader with strong mechanical knowledge and a background in heavy construction, this is a role where you can make a major impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading and supervising a team of heavy equipment mechanics

• Scheduling preventative maintenance and urgent repairs

• Managing inventory, ordering parts, and working with vendors

• Coordinating field service and minimizing downtime on job sites

• Monitoring department budgets and controlling costs

• Communicating with project managers and site superintendents

• Ensuring all work is performed safely and meets compliance standards

What We're Looking For:

• Experience managing a heavy equipment shop or service team

• Strong knowledge of heavy construction equipment

• 421A Heavy Equipment Mechanic license is an asset but not required

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Comfortable with maintenance software and fleet systems

• Background in construction or infrastructure projects preferred
