Our client is seeking a responsible, self-motivated, and mechanically inclined Outside Sales Representative to cover a territory consisting of Toronto east, including Southeastern Ontario. Key Responsibilities - Promote and market the full range of products. - Manage and grow a warm customer base (approx. 80% warm, 20% cold calling). - Travel within your assigned territory to build and maintain customer relationships. - Follow up on quotations, provide product support, and act as a liaison between customers and our technical team. - Maintain and update records of customer interactions and sales progress. - Stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activity. - Participate in initial training at our office (first 3-4 days), with ongoing office visits approximately once every two weeks. - Occasionally travel for 1-2 overnight stays per month for clients further east. Qualifications Requirements - Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably within an industrial or technical field. - Strong mechanical aptitude (a formal degree is not required but hands-on technical familiarity is essential). - Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse clients. - Self-starter who is personable, organized, and results-oriented. - Comfortable with both independent field work and team collaboration. - Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. - High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
