Supply Chain Coordinator
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of goods and information across the supply chain network—from suppliers to customers—ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations. This role plays a key part in inventory planning, procurement, forecasting, and day-to-day execution of sales orders. The coordinator collaborates with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams to support business objectives, meet customer demand, and enhance supply chain performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Purchase Order Execution: Manage daily supply chain operations related to supplier purchase orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and issue resolution.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to meet forecasted demand, reduce excess inventory, and optimize storage.
- Procurement & Forecasting: Oversee purchasing activities and work closely with suppliers to maintain supply continuity, incorporating forecast updates into the ERP system.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate transportation and delivery logistics, track shipments, and ensure on-time distribution of goods.
- ERP System Utilization: Operate ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MRP) for purchasing, inventory tracking, and reporting.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making; generate regular performance reports.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement, implement changes, and measure results using KPIs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, internal departments, and service partners to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure supply chain activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of supply chain experience or a related university-level education.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, MRP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
