WHO YOU ARE
Youre a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice whos passionate about the trade and takes pride in doing things right the first time. You thrive on being part of a team, learning from experienced tradespeople, and contributing to high-quality high rise residential and commercial projects. This is an 40-hour per week position with most sites beginning work from 6:30-7:00am across the GTA.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems in commercial and industrial environments
• Perform routine electrical maintenance and assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults using appropriate testing devices
• Repair or replace electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and devices as needed to ensure systems are safe and operational
• Ensure all work complies with the relevant codes and regulations
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment with care and precision
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and consistently follow all health and safety protocols
  
• Collaborate with journeypersons, site foremen, and project teams to complete tasks on schedule and to a high standard
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan and execute work accurately

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• A 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
• Completion of Basic and/or Intermediate school terms preferred
• Solid working knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (ECE)
  
• Physically able to perform construction tasks in a variety of environments
• Own transportation an asset
