Why You?
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Water Utilities Operator to join the
InnServices team! In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for the operation and
maintenance of Innisfils Water Treatment and Distribution System, while ensuring compliance
with Provincial Legislation and InnServices policies for the protection of public health and safety.


The Utilities Operator - Water will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining all InnServices owned water infrastructure in order to control
    production and water quality to the public users and the environment
  • Performing daily rounds of treatment facilities for the analysis, monitoring and recording
    of: chemical usage and replenishing of supplies; daily production of supply volumes and
    operational hours; reservoir levels, generator status, system pressures; operational
    parameters as dictated by Ministry of Environment Certificates of Approval and
    regulations
  • If qualified, participate in overtime, rotational standby duties and on call response after
    hours, including weekend work and stat holidays as required
  • Availability to attend evening meetings or other events, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned in accordance with corporate objectives

We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual who holds the following:

  • Community College diploma in a related field (such as; Civil Engineering, Water, or
    Environmental studies) or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum of eight (8) months of experience in a water distribution and water treatment
    environment.
  • As a minimum, must possess MECP OIT Certifications in both Water Treatment and
    Water Distribution and Supply.
  • Must possess a Valid Class G Drivers license

Pay for position will be per Class Certification System for MECP Certifications in Water
Treatment and Water Distribution and Supply (See below):


OITs: $35.01 per hour
Class I: $39.60 per hour
Class II: $44.48 per hour
Class III (and above): $48.15 per hour
Note: All rates based on a 40 hour week
