Job SummaryAs a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with Qualicare Hamilton, you will deliver direct client care in the home setting, following individualized care plans tailored to client needs. Youll monitor health conditions, administer treatments within your scope of practice, and collaborate with families, caregivers, and the broader healthcare team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care in the clients home
  • Follow established care plans and update documentation accurately and promptly
  • Perform clinical assessments and monitor client conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as per scope of practice
  • Maintain infection prevention standards and adhere to Universal Precautions
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team
  • Document observations, interventions, and outcomes in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Current Certificate of Competence in good standing with the CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario)
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
  • Negative TB test or clear chest x-ray
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in home care or community health (preferred, but not required)
