Van Beek's is a well-known hardscape garden supply center that has been successfully servicing the Greater Toronto Area for almost 63 years. We pride ourselves in maintaining excellent customer service standards and providing quality products to various types of customers. We are looking for an ERP Manager to join our team!

Primary Function:

The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, integration, and optimization of Van Beeks ERP system to support business operations. This role includes system configuration, process improvement, data integrity, training, and ongoing support for end users. The ERP Manager works closely with internal teams, external vendors, and senior leadership to ensure the ERP system supports the company's goals. This role is onsite daily at the Van Beek's location.

Typical Duties:

  • Lead ERP implementation and system module configuration.
  • Ensure accurate data migration, validation, and integrity.
  • Provide user training and ERP helpdesk support.
  • Evaluate internal processes and drive optimization using ERP functionalities.
  • Collaborate with IT and Marketing to integrate ERP with e-commerce and POS systems.
  • Generate dashboards and reports to support operational and sales decisions.
  • Coordinate with vendors on updates, customizations, and support.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, backups, and maintenance routines.
  • Maintain user access, roles, and system security controls.
  • Liaise with department managers to align ERP functionality with business needs.
  • Manage the ERP Department staffing, including hiring, performance monitoring, and resource planning.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, ECI Spruce), is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing ERP systems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional ERP implementations or migrations.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and POS system integration (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong ability to interpret data, troubleshoot system issues, and optimize system use.
  • Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
