Currently we are recruiting for LVN's for long-term contracts at correctional facilities in the Delano, CA area. If you have at least one full year of licensed LVN experience then we want to talk to you!

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care:

     • Provide direct nursing care to individuals within the correctional facility.

     • Assess and address the healthcare needs of inmates, including monitoring vital signs and conducting routine health checks.

  2. Medication Administration:

     • Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to established protocols and ensuring accurate documentation of dosage and frequency.

  3. Health Assessments:

     • Conduct health assessments to identify and address medical issues, collaborating with physicians as needed.

  4. Emergency Response:

     • Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the correctional facility, providing immediate care and coordinating with the healthcare team.

  5. Record Keeping:

     • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.

  6. Collaboration:

     • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

  7. Patient Education:

     • Educate inmates on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies to promote overall well-being.

  Qualifications:

  • Current and valid LVN license in the state of CA.

  • BLS

  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
