Fengate is seeking a Manager to join the Infrastructure Funds team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, Infrastructure Funds, the individual will be responsible for fund operations, investor and internal reporting, financial analysis, tax, treasury and liquidity management, compliance and management of Fengate's Infrastructure Funds. This role will interact closely with the leadership team, asset management team, investment team, the fund administrator, investor relations team, tax team and external investors. The role offers the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of infrastructure private equity funds and further develop leadership skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the fund's day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with governing fund documents and credit facilities
- Working with the fund's external administrator to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records and financial reporting
- Manage fund operations, including capital activities (capital calls and distributions), credit facilities, investor and investment closings, fund flows, investor onboarding, and redemptions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the investor relations team to respond to investor requests and assist with fundraising initiatives
- Liaise with tax team and advisors to oversee tax filings and compliance with tax authorities in the U.S. and Canada
- Review of the quarterly investor financial reporting package and management reports
- Identify and mitigate operational risks by implementing best practices in fund management and ensuring proper internal controls are in place
- Other ad-hoc financial analysis to support the infrastructure business unit and the broader Fengate team (i.e., asset management, legal, investments, etc.)
- Liaise with the tax team and advisors to manage tax filings and compliance with the U.S. and Canadian tax authorities
- Contribute new ideas to develop best in class processes and procedures
- Assist in preparation of quarterly investor and management reports and presentations
Requirements
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA designation preferred
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant technical discipline
- Experience with private equity funds is an asset
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Exceptional quality standards and an ongoing desire to push for new approaches
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines as a part of a team
- Strong business acumen and judgment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and professional development
- Experience managing junior level staff preferred
