POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Shipper & Receiver at our solar construction site in Duchess, Alberta. In this position, you will be responsible for the shipping and receiving of materials, as well as the management and organization of inventory and locations. Additionally, you will perform tool crib duties, including signing out specific tools and ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for, all while adhering to safety guidelines. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking incoming materials against order details and documenting any discrepancies.
- Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off.
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials using the appropriate operating machinery.
- Managing and organizing inventory, materials, and locations.
- Performing tool crib duties, including signing out tools, tracking tool usage, and maintaining and accounting for tools and equipment.
- Following and adhering to the Company safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and organization of the warehouse and project site.
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Thorough understanding of construction procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Experience operating a forklift, telehandler, and skid steer.
- A valid driver's license is required
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and inventory.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management is an asset.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Will be exposed to construction sites.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
