WORK SCHEDULE:

The successful applicant will have a regular schedule of 7 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday. Additional hours are required as operations dictate. Participation in after-hours and weekend call backs program (which are paid at a premium rate) is required.

Access to reliable transportation is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

OPERATIONS:

  • Take ownership and leadership of the overall parking operations for the location, while abiding by the standards and norms of Indigo.
  • Oversee the daily operations of all aspects of the parking lot.
  • Patrol and inspect the parking area daily to verify that equipment and lighting function properly, that cars circulate without problems, that there is a sufficient quantity of supplies necessary to the proper functioning of the parking lot.
  • Completing minor equipment repairs as required, and minimizing any downtime to parking operation.
  • Clean all parking equipment and signage regularly.
  • Enforce parking policies.
  • Timely collection of monthly parking fees.
  • Actively identify and correct any inefficiencies in the parking operation.
  • Provide assistance in person and remotely to customers in the use of the automated parking equipment, recognizing and respecting the individual needs of each customer.
  • Provide direction and coaching to location staff.
  • Assign work and direct activities of location staff.

ADMINISTRATION:

  • Prepare and remit parking statistics and/or reports.
  • Ensure parking revenues are counted, collected and deposited by location staff.
  • Contracting outside service providers as required (line painting, major equipment repairs, etc).
  • Data entry.
  • Use of billing software, parking software, and Word Suite.
  • Manage new hire onboarding program.
  • Conducting recruitment and interviews for location staff.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP:

  • Build positive relationships with customers and clients.
  • Note the nature of complaints received by customers, and actively help develop and suggest solutions.
  • Communicate written and verbally with customers and clients in English.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools for making repairs.
