Great DZ Opportunity! New Trucks! Our Stoney Creek Operation is hiring qualified DZ Drivers to operate Waste & Recycling Trucks in Stoney Creek/ Hamilton. This is a Driver-Loader role. Half the time you drive, the other half you load. Covid Vaccination not required. Heating is fully functional on all vehicles at all times! Camera Assist on all vehicles to improve safety and ease of driving! $25.86/hr!

Requirements

• DZ or AZ License
• Valid SIN or Work Permit
• CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots (shoes not allowed), Long Pants and Safety Vest required
• 6:15 am Starts
• 50 hours per week
• Plus 6 Saturday's per year (Saturday after a Stat Holiday)

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre and post trip inspections
• Drive an automatic transmission garbage truck
• Pick up and throw recycling from curbs into truck
• Complete routes on a daily basis
• Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
• Able to work in outdoor weather conditions
• Have a pair of CSA Approved Work Boots with a 6 " Ankle Cuff
• Weekly Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6am to approx 5pm
• 50hr work-week
