Responsibilities:

• Answer all social event inquiries including but not limited to kids' birthday events, sports team events, adult birthday's, anniversary parties, school trips, and many more!
• Create custom event proposals and contracts, guiding clients through the booking process from beginning to end.
• Manage client payments, menu selections, event changes and updates in a timely manner.
• Engage in professional sales calls, meetings, and client site visits for both Corporate and Social events.
• Liaise with the operations team to coordinate weekly kitchen packages and assess staffing requirements on a regular basis, making updates as required.
• Work daily on the floor, greeting clients and assisting operations where needed during peak periods.
• Contribute to the overall venue sales and operational goals in collaboration with the full Events Team.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to undergo a current Background Check.
• Eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.
• 1+ years of restaurant experience in the hospitality industry.
• 1+ years of event planning experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen and organizational skills.
• Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent preferred.
• Smart Serve Certified, Food Handler Certification, Joint Health & Safety Committee Certification (considered an asset).
