Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Food Handler to join our produce team. The ideal candidate will ensure that fruits and vegetables are handled, stored, and displayed according to food safety standards and company policies. This position plays a key role in delivering fresh, high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and stock fresh produce deliveries
  

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the produce section
  

• Monitor product quality and remove damaged or spoiled items
  

• Handle produce with care to prevent bruising or spoilage
  

• Assist customers with questions or produce selection
  

• Rotate stock to ensure freshness (FIFO method)
  

• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
  

• Support inventory counts and report discrepancies
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food handling or retail preferred
  

• Basic knowledge of fruits and vegetables
  

• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  

• Friendly attitude and customer service skills
