KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop daily and weekly menus focused on fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Lead, support, and train culinary staff to ensure exceptional dining experiences
- Participate actively in community events, sales efforts, and resident engagement
- Monitor compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Manage food costs and labor hours within budget
- Oversee health and safety standards, including OH&S Committee responsibilities
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally
- Take on additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited culinary program
- Proven experience managing culinary operations, including menu design, ordering, budgeting, and service standards
- Solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with therapeutic diets is a plus
- Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Screening
