KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop daily and weekly menus focused on fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Lead, support, and train culinary staff to ensure exceptional dining experiences
• Participate actively in community events, sales efforts, and resident engagement
• Monitor compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Manage food costs and labor hours within budget
• Oversee health and safety standards, including OH&S Committee responsibilities
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally
• Take on additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited culinary program
• Proven experience managing culinary operations, including menu design, ordering, budgeting, and service standards
• Solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with therapeutic diets is a plus
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Screening
