The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of assigned projects from inception through completion. This includes estimating jobs, scheduling, managing production and fabrication teams, communicating with customers and vendors, and maintaining project budgets and performance metrics (including profit & loss). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret and manipulate CAD data.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate cost estimates for steel stamping and light/medium steel fabrication projects

* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones

* Act as the main point of contact for customers and vendors, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle

* Monitor and manage project performance, timelines, and financial outcomes (P&L)

* Lead and coordinate production team members to meet project deliverables

* Ensure all projects meet quality standards, safety protocols, and customer specifications

* Review technical drawings and CAD data; manipulate files as necessary to support project execution

* Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency

* Identify and resolve project risks or issues in a timely manner

* Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership

**Qualifications:**

* 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive stamping or steel fabrication

* Strong estimating experience for metal fabrication and stamping projects

* Proficient in reading and working with technical drawings and CAD files (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)

* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production scheduling

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

* Knowledge of ERP or project management software is a plus

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
