We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact initiative focused on the redesign and optimization of Manitobas provincial healthcare recruitment website. The role will involve managing updates related to website design, content, and user experience, while engaging a broad range of stakeholders including government representatives, subject matter experts, contracted agencies, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of the HCRRO website redesign and content verification project.
Coordinate across government departments, health care organizations, and external partners to align project goals with stakeholder needs.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and communications to ensure project success.
Facilitate collaboration among large stakeholder groups including clinical experts, executive leadership, and union/professional associations.
Provide oversight and guidance to project teams and sub-project leads.
Report on project progress to executive sponsors and steering committees.
Ensure alignment with provincial health workforce strategies and quality patient care initiatives.
Qualifications:
Valid PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
Bachelor's degree in Biology or Health Sciences is preferred.
Minimum 7 years experience managing projects related to health workforce recruitment.
At least 10 years experience delivering healthcare initiatives involving workforce planning with a focus on patient safety and quality environments.
Minimum 5 years experience working with cross-functional stakeholder teams (10+ members) in healthcare, including executives, clinicians, and unions/professional bodies.
Proven 5 years experience in managing web design and user experience (UX) improvement projects.
At least 2 years experience managing projects specifically related to the nursing workforce.
Minimum 2 years experience working on health system or workforce initiatives within the Manitoba healthcare system.
