Business Analyst

At Indigo Park Canada, we are seeking a Business Intelligence professional with experience in analyzing and presenting large datasets to drive strategic decision-making. You'll use advanced BI tools to generate actionable insights, optimize pricing strategies, and uncover revenue growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of regular and ad-hoc reports, as well as dashboards for GTAA and other key clients.

  • Analyze market dynamics and pricing trends, researching and documenting findings, updating competitor databases, and tracking special events.

  • Support Yield and Pricing strategy implementation, including performance analysis, trends, pricing points, demand elasticities, and impact analysis.

  • Develop new reports and dashboards, maintaining high standards for distribution to both local management and key clients.

  • Maintain pricing tables and structures, performing data cleaning, quality control, and account security management.

  • Act as the primary contact for technical and user-related inquiries regarding BI tools.

  • Collaborate with management and clients to prepare revenue and booking forecasts based on key assumptions and data.

  • Prepare financial analysis and reports to support GTAA local teams, analyzing budget and forecast variances.

  • Develop and implement analytical models, charts, and new procedures as required.

  • Partner with business leaders from GTAA and Indigo across other countries to create and implement new pricing strategies and reports for parking across multiple sectors and markets.

  • Maintain and communicate ongoing use of BI tools for GTAA.

Note: This role focuses on the primary functions listed above but may involve other reasonable tasks required by the position.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Education in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields (Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Physical or Computer Sciences).

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, primarily working with large datasets.

  • Proficient in data modeling and analysis, with advanced knowledge of open-source coding languages (R, Python), Excel, and large-scale data management.

  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

  • Experience with OLAP tools such as IBM Cognos, TM1, SAP, Hyperion, Oracle, Qlik.

  • Experience creating reports for clients or managing accounts.

  • Strong decision-making ability and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams at all organizational levels.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and evaluative skills.

  • Project management experience, with the ability to communicate effectively at various levels.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both internal and external, including presentation abilities.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with dynamic pricing in industries such as hospitality, airlines, or retail.

  • Experience with demand forecasting and predictive analytics.

  • Familiarity with SPSS (predictive modeling).
