Position Summary:
As a Business Development Manager, you will manage, recruit, and develop new and existing Food Service On Premise (FSOP) business in Canada. Grow the revenue, volume and profitability for key existing strategic partners, as well as develop a pipeline of new or competitive chains, accounts. Interface with all key sales partners to develop and grow company sales and share. The areas of focus will be “targeted” existing large regional or national sales accounts as well as engaging and securing new business opportunities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage an existing base of key strategic regional and national customers within Canada. Provide information on the products and services that MEC provides. Grow sales in existing targeted customer accounts.
- Recruit / Develop / Investigate business opportunities with new or competitive business within Canada. Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings. Find and develop new markets and improve sales. Develop quotes and proposals for new clients.
- Larger customers – collaborate MEC/CCCBL sales and marketing leaders to pitch new business.
- Provide MEC VPGM with regular status updates on new contacts /meetings / hit list etc.
- Work on special projects as identified by their manager to grow Monster sales and share.
- Conducts business reviews with customers, our distribution partners, and MEC personnel to identify opportunities for sales growth.
Position Requirements:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field of study
- Between 3‐5 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint / Excel /Word/ etc.). General comfort level with various Social Media and Digital Platforms
Base Salary Range: $74,250 - $99,000
