General Description:

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of administrative and marketing support activities under the direction of the Director, Marketing & Branding and senior management of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external business partners to develop strategies, campaigns, and budgets to ensure collateral and other communications achieve corporate priorities
  • Coordinate various production and installation logistics in multiple mediums including digital, print, event, advertising, and public relations
  • Assist with the preparation of marketing materials such as brochures, online media, website content, and client communications (including coordination of revisions to ad copy, graphics, renderings, floor plans, logos, and other visual materials)
  • Contribute innovative social media engagement ideas and opportunities that lie into overall brand and reputation; develop content strategies – includes writing and owning conversation calendars, creating visuals and other graphics to accompany content (keyword research, campaign set up, ad copywriting, and real-time monitoring/optimization)
  • Monitor various online resources (social sites, blogs, media website) to identify promotional opportunities and content material (finding relevant articles, creative ideas, strategic partnership opportunities)
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, platform changes, best practices, and competitive landscapes) and communicate industry news and trends
  • Attend and participate in regular marketing meetings, and meetings at sales offices, project sites, and events to set up, assist, or supervise marketing and sales efforts
  • Ensure critical timelines are met and teams are kept updated and informed; respond to internal demands for marketing material and information
  • Maintain annual advertising deadline and submission schedule
  • Review marketing related invoices and submit for approval
  • Maintain marketing library, archiving both digital and printed items
  • Various administrative duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years marketing experience in construction industry is a requirement
  • General knowledge of land and real estate development, home building, or construction industry/real estate marketing/sales is an asset
  • University or College degree or equivalent in marketing, business, management, communications, media studies, city studies, or other related fields
  • Experience with managing social/digital media
  • Knowledgeable with online media marketing principles and techniques
  • Training and proficiency in website maintenance
  • Comfort with data, metrics, and analytics; proven ability to examine and interpret data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with InDesign or Illustrator
  • Energetic, positive attitude with strong work ethic and professional maturity
  • Creative with an ability to communicate ideas effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects to multiple deadlines and a high degree of organization and time management skills is essential; strong drive for accuracy and flawless execution
  • Ability to be proactive and anticipate job requirements; takes ownership of tasks and consistent follow-through
  • Previous experience within high-rise marketing department and copywriting is an asset
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle is a requirement
