Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Electronics Technician to join our Winnipeg team for a full-time or part-time role. The starting wage is $32/hour, with excellent opportunities for internal career growth and skill development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, service, and repair mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers, and gaming consoles.
  • Replace hardware components such as screens, batteries, and charging ports.
  • Perform advanced board-level diagnostics and repairs, including micro-soldering where applicable.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve faults.
  • Accurately log repairs, part usage, and service notes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Communicate clearly with front desk staff and customers about repair status and timelines.
  • Stay up to date on the latest devices and common repair issues.
  • Participate in the intake and organization of inventory and parts.
  • Assist in sales or customer education regarding products and services when needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile or computer hardware repair (preferred)
  • Customer service experience (required)
  • Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic issues
  • Experience with micro-soldering and board-level repairs (preferred)
  • Clear and effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to travel between store locations if required
