Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced conveyancer for their Abbotsford office. The candidate needs to have at least 3 years of recent BC Law Firm conveyancing experience (They would consider experience with a notary, but not if all they've done is work with a realtor), needs to be capable of working independently and confidentially and reliably handling all aspects of sale, purchase and mortgage transactions from beginning to end, including registrations and final reporting. Candidate will also need to be willing to handle the file-related accounting functions such as posting disbursements, preparing (1st step) deposits and generating cheques (both trust and general), preparing invoices, and paying out parties as the files require. Some backup front desk support will be required as needed.
