Responsibilities:
Full understanding of project schedules, critical paths, and interdependencies between trades and tasks
Forecasting and monitoring schedule progress and upcoming work phases
Providing clear communication to subcontractors on upcoming schedules — both in writing and verbally at weekly site meetings
Managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency
Coordinating inspections with consultants across disciplines (structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
Conducting quality control inspections following each trade's work completion
Identifying and documenting deficiencies, communicating them to trades, and ensuring timely resolution
RequirementsQualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Construction Management (or equivalent experience) is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of residential or site supervision experience
- Strong attention to detail with a hands-on approach to quality and productivity
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily site travel
