Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and overseeing the construction of innovative and sustainable residential and commercial projects. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to bring visionary concepts to life.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop architectural designs and plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Collect project specifications to produce detailed blueprints, making corrections as required, and staying within timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software to create detailed drawings and models.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.
  • Make on-site visits throughout the project to check on status and report on project progress.
  • Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Licensed Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Exceptional drawing skills with proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Ontario Building Codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to visualize and come up with creative solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Skilled in project management, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
