Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric, propane, diesel, and gas-powered forklifts and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Perform routine maintenance and scheduled service

• Repair or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering components, and hydraulics

• Conduct safety inspections and keep detailed records of repairs

• Communicate clearly with customers and supervisors regarding issues and repair status

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a forklift or heavy equipment mechanic

• Strong knowledge of electric and internal combustion forklifts

• Ability to read and understand service manuals and schematics

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Own set of tools (preferred)

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Assets (Not Required but Preferred):

• Certification in lift truck maintenance or heavy equipment technician license

• Experience with brands like Toyota, Hyster, Raymond, Crown, etc.
