About the Company
Our client, a boutique litigation law firm located in the heart of downtown Toronto, is in search of a Litigation Legal Assistant / Law Clerk to join their growing civil litigation and class actions group.
About the Role
As the Legal Assistant / Law Clerk, you will:
  • Draft and assemble various court documents
  • Prepare for the issuance, service and filing of various court documents
  • Maintain class member database spreadsheets
  • Perform various administrative duties, as assigned
  • Respond to client and class member inquiries
  • Schedule telephone calls and meetings with clients and class members

What You Bring
As the ideal candidate, you possess 3+ years' experience supporting a civil litigation or class actions (preferred) practice in a law firm environment. You have successfully obtained a Law Clerk Diploma through an accredited institution. You are proficient in the entire MS Office Suite, and are versed in the Rules of Civil Procedure, along with court procedures at various levels.
