We're looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruitment efforts that bring top talent into our organization and support our mission of building better by design.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and executing effective recruitment strategies that attract, engage, and retain top talent across the organization. You'll act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, guiding them through best-in-class recruitment practices and ensuring a positive, streamlined candidate experience.

As a key member of our Talent Team, you'll also use data-driven insights to continuously improve hiring processes and support workforce planning initiatives that align with our evolving business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality candidates through proactive sourcing / headhunting, networking, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Utilize a variety of recruitment channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional organizations, and employee referrals.

Recruitment Process Leadership

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and provide market insights to influence hiring decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate experience, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Utilize UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) for requisition management, candidate tracking, and recruitment analytics.
  • Oversee interview coordination and lead negotiation & offer processes
  • Lead negotiation and offer processes to secure top talent.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic recommendations on workforce planning and talent acquisition trends.
  • Educate and support hiring managers on the Talent Acquisition lifecycle, resume review and interviewing techniques.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align hiring strategies with workforce planning initiatives.

Candidate Experience & Employer Branding

  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Strengthen DIRTT's employer brand by promoting the company's culture, values, and career opportunities.
Data-Driven Recruitment & Compliance
  • Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage UKG analytics tools to monitor hiring trends and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and best practices in recruitment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, ideally in a fast paced high growth environment,
  • A data-driven mindset with a focus on results, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) for applicant tracking systems (ATS), reporting, and analytics.
  • Strong expertise in talent sourcing strategies and recruitment marketing using modern recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong candidate pipelines in multiple functions (corporate, construction, manufacturing, sales, etc.).
  • Outstanding MS Office skills.
