Broad Purpose:

We are looking for Electrician for our Scarborough location.

• Shift: Rotating shifts – Monday to Friday three 8 hrs rotating shifts;
• Wage:$42.89/hr

REQUIREMENTS BELOW:

• Ensure operation of electrical systems and equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshooting problems on conveyors, programmable controllers, transformers, voltage regulators and machinery wiring; following electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
• Repair and replace as necessary electrical systems and equipment by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures; determining faulty wiring, inspecting and testing malfunctioning machinery
• Perform maintenance mechanical duties as required
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
• Maintain documentation as required by Electrical Safety Authority
• Maintain an adequate supply of parts as required
• Follow all ISO and HACCP procedures
• Report all problems to the shift Supervisor when they occur
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Abide by all plant rules, safety rules and regulations of the Company
• Other related duties as required
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have good performance record in current position
• Must have good attendance in current position
• Must hold a current & valid Ontario Industrial Electrical License, #442A or must hold Ontario Electrician – Construction and Maintenance License, #309A
