Who we're looking for
Your 5+ years of UX design experience have given you the ability to work with a human-centred lens and create more meaningful digital experiences. You believe in a collaborative, multidisciplinary project approach and know that diverse perspectives lead to stronger work.

- You have a deep understanding of the iterative user experience design process. You know how to think ahead to see how solutions will function across different devices and for disparate audiences.
- You're proficient in software like Figma, Miro, JIRA, Confluence, and Notion for workshopping, designing, and prototyping. Bonus marks if youre using AI for ideation and prototyping. You also understand and have experience with agile work processes.
- You're collaborative. You love solving complex design problems and understand how your work fits with other disciplines, including writing, visual design, technology, research, and data. You also understand how to use the UX design process to create team alignment and stakeholder consensus.
- You communicate design decisions and user insights clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams, leadership, and clients. You adapt your communication style to suit technical and non-technical audiences.
- You're flexible. You know when to hold your ground and when to adapt your approach or recommendations based on feedback. You win the hearts and minds of clients by helping them ask the right questions, probing when necessary, and developing tailored strategies.
A day in the life
orking at an agency, you'll have the opportunity to work simultaneously with various clients across a range of industries. One day, you might be studying the needs of job-seekers for a review site with over 50 million unique monthly visitors. Another day, you might explore how the needs of international and Canadian travellers differ and how to localize their online experience. No two days are the same.
That said, here are a few activities that will likely take up most of your time:
- Lead the user experience work for multiple clients, and advocate for those clients' users every step of the way.
- Act as a mentor to junior user experience designers.
- Create organizing principles, user flows, and site maps.
- Sketch, wireframe, design, and prototype user experience solutions.
- Test your work to improve results for our clients.
- Lead clients and customers in rapid design labs and workshops.
